This was a perfect costume for my 2-yr-old daughter. I was able to dress her warmly underneath the bee costume because it's completely open on the bottom. When I ordered it, I thought there were 2 leg holes that would make it difficult to put over pants.
Very SMALL - more like size 9-12mos
This costume is super cute and made of better quality material than most. However, it is much SMALLER than described. The description says it is a size 12-24mos and will fit tots 29-35 inches tall and 20-28 lbs. In addition, the packaging the costume comes in claims the little girl modeling the costume is 34 inches tall and 27 lbs. Well, either I got a defective costume, or their size descriptions are way off. My daughter (20mos old) is 33 inches tall and 26 lbs. -- smaller than the model and well within the advertized size range -- but the costume hit her ABOVE the HIPS, just below her belly button. So disappointing. If you are ordering for a child between 9 mos and maybe 15mos, this should fit fine and be very cute. Anyone ordering for a child who is over 15mos or who wears a size over 12mos might want to look elsewhere . . .
Easy to use costume
So easy to put on; the wings can come loose but overall I'm glad we purchased it. Great that it can be used for both boys and girls.
