My one grandson loves hats. He got a straw cowboy hat when his Mom & Dad were in Texas. I bought this outfit for Christmas and he puts it on he says "I'm a Cowboy!" Really looks cute on the jumping horse we also bought him.
Son not interested
My mother in law asked me to find my son a cowboy outfit for him for Christmas to play with. (She doesn't shop online.) He is 2 and not super into cowboys. He wanted nothing to do with this. The hat doesn't look very much like a cowboy hat. She took him to a country/western store and got hin a real cowboy hat and he was really in to that, but it could have been the experience that did it. I think this would be good for its intended pirpose as a Halloween costume for a boy who is really into cowboys but its not "cowboy" enough to inspire excitement on one who is not.
