First, the hat or cap... was SUPER funky! The 'bowl' part of the cap is small and shallow, kind of like a very small yamaka with no grip. It's all made out of felt, the WHOLE outfit. The bill of the cap was pretty much bigger than the bowl part and it would not fit ANY head, really. We tried and tried to alter it but finally decided to just chunk it. Wasted money and materials.
The entire outfit is one piece. Nothing detaches. So the 'backpack' is actually just a giant pocket in the back. All images are cheaply printed on (not that I expected different, just FYI). The foot portion of the outfit basically drapes over the little one's shoes and has an elastic band to secure under their feet. We had to alter both outfits. We ordered size 6-12 and Toddler size (but they sent us 2 of the Toddler sizes and gave me a hard time, asking me in what way was my order wrong. It was too close to Halloween to return so they won).
