Rubie's Costume Co Baby-boys Newborn B0050HOJZ0

Rubie's Costume Co Baby-boys Newborn The Wild Things are Max Ez-on Romper, White, Infant - 1.7 out of 5 stars from 10 customer reviews

Warning: Misleading size information
I was hesitant to order a costume online but this looked so cute for a great price. I reviewed the size information very carefully because I did not want to have to return it. The online product description says "fits Toddler size 2-4" and the manufacturer recommended age is "12 mos - 5 yrs."

My two-and-a-half year old wears 2T/3T so, after checking all info carefully, I assumed this would fit.

When I received the costume it was WAY too small and the packaging itself said "1-2 yrs." I would never had bought this if that information had been online.
The vendor does offer full refunds, but they say they don't refund original shipping cost ($6.95) or the cost to ship it back. In other words, this return is going to cost me almost as much as the costume itself with nothing to show for it.

I complained when I filled out the Amazon return form, and am waiting to hear from the vendor. Hopefully they will make this right without any cost to me...

Very Small
I didn't want to believe the hype but this costume really is too small. I figured 2T-4T had to fit my just turned two-year-old but no luck. My son is in the 50th percentile for both weight and height and this was way too small. It is also very thin so he would need a white shirt and pants to wear underneath. The quality is not great but I would have kept it if it fit. Do not buy this if your child is older than one, it really won't fit.

Cute Costume with Too-Small Crown
This costume fits my tall-for-his-age 20-month old perfectly, but the crown is impossibly tiny. I measured the circumference as 14", which is what my son's head circumference was when he was born (which is average). Otherwise, the costume is cute, although the placement of the velcro closures is a bit odd, and it will definitely require light-colored clothing to be worn underneath.
