Teen Titans Robin Toddler Costume B001DBI1DI

Teen Titans Robin Toddler Costume - 3.6 out of 5 stars from 41 customer reviews

Adorable Costume, but Cheaply Made
While this costume is absolutely adorable on, it is quite cheaply made. If your child is like mine and wants to wear it 24/7 you will be lucky to make it to Halloween. We have had the costume for 4 days and it has 3 holes in it and it is has little balls all over it from wear. I have been careful to allow him to have fun, while being cautious not to destroy the costume. He is not a rough child and it is already looking shabby. I would recommend the Toddler Deluxe Teen Titan Robin Costume with Muscle Chest because it is made of a different material and holds up a lot better. My other son has the Batman Deluxe Muscle Chest Kids Costume, KIDS SIZE Small and it is really nice. This Robin costume was the only one that I could find at the time so I bought it thinking it would be ok. I was wrong. It also runs small. My son is just starting to wear a 3T and this costume is short on him. Hope this helps.

poor quality, poor sizing
The quality is really poor. We ordered the same costume in batman and it's falling apart after two try ons so it's not going to make it past Halloween for dress up play like I'd hoped. Also this robin costume's mask has eyes cut out for an adult so we'll have to cut the eye holes for my son to see through it. The seams The sizing is also confusing. The tag reads 2T to 4T for 1 to 2 year olds. Confusing. Turns out the 2T to 4T is really 12 to 24months. It fits my 20month old must a little on the big size, and he's around size 18month. Poor quality and runs really small if you go by the 2T 4T sizing label. If you go by the age on the label, you should be okay.

Overall adorable - 2 small problems
My 2 year old loves his Robin costume. Only 2 complaints. The mask is hooked together in the back with velcro that comes apart pretty easily. It wasn't a problem for Halloween, but he wants to use it for dress-up and he can do it by himself. The second is that the cape only attaches to the costume - you can't use it separately. So if he wants to wear it he has to put the whole costume on which he can't do on his own. I might attach some elastic for him.
