The costume is very cute and I'm sure my son will look adorable in it NEXT year. The size on Amazon claims infant 6-12mo, which fits my son in clothes. The label on the package also says "USA size 1-2" this must be 1T-2T, so not really for 6-12mo. Just wanted to warn others about the size.
The costume itself is thick polyester with snap closures in back and along the inside of legs. The head piece is very cute and has a button closure under the chin. It is a nice costume.

This costume is as adorable in person (and on) as it is in the stock photos. I bought it for my 2 year old son. He is currently wearing 24 months (in toddler boys') and this costume fits perfectly!
I am thankful, however, that we had the foresight to try it on well in advance because... (1) the Velcro tabs in the rear DID NOT STICK TOGETHER AT ALL on our purchase and (2) the elastic stirrups on the "feet" fell off as the costume was removed from the original packaging just as if they were never attached. (In all honesty, since the stirrups are underneath the feet/boots, I prefer not to have them because walking on them would have ripped and torn them anyway.) Regardless, these two minor repairs can be made easily and inexpensively. Therefore, given the overall look and price, I would recommend this product!
