This is an adorable costume. The problem is that the care instructions say that it can be machine washed and line dried, which is what I attempted. I washed on a delicate cycle, by itself, and unfortunately two of the peas came off in the wash due to the fact that they are very lightly sewn on, and reattaching them is challenging because they are attached to the upper layer only, so I now need to decide (in time to find an alternative for Halloween, if necessary), whether to attempt the repair it myself or return the item and find something else. It's a shame because the outfit itself is adorable and extremely soft. Definitely a dilemna....
