Waste of money! I got it SUPER quick & was so excited to try it on my daughter! We got home & tried it on my daughter. I was completely DISAPPOINTED!
1) CHEAP antenna! All it is thin faded black head band with two pieces pipe cleaner twisted on it.
2) The lacy underskirt has no elastic so it kept falling off & it was so rough it rubbed red spots on her waist.
3) Reviews I read said it was made small. So I bought way bigger! My daughter 21 months wears 18-24 months. So I bought the 3-4t instead of 2t. Figuring she have room for under clothes & stuff. It fit big like I wanted, but as soon as I undid the velcor on the back closer & started to slide it over her head the seem split right down the back.
Luckily I am crafty so I wrapped the head band with ribbon & added a bow to make it looke better. I fixed split seam with liquid stitch & I attached a silk wasit band w/draw string on the under skirt. It fixed the problems, but costed me more money on top the high price...
Cute, but falls apart quickly
This is a cute costume, but it isn't very high quality, and it is very thin material. (So, if you live in a cold area, you will need a thick black shirt underneath). It works for about one night - Halloween! The mesh slip underneath was also HUGE, and would have fit an 8 year old.
Served its purpose well
The costume was kind of cheaply made but it lasted on my 2 year old all day. Nothing ripped or tore and she enjoyed being a ladybug for Halloween.
