This costume has fallen apart after having it 3 days. It also came with two loose seams/tears (right at the side of the chest and underarm seams). I tried to sew it together but after one gentle cycle wash (turned inside out), the outer sheer layer of the dress ripped in multiple spots. My little 2.5 year old loved this dress, but I will have to buy something else. Very poor quality:(
One-Wear Wonder
I know this isn't THAT expensive of a costume, but talk about a let-down. My 2 year-old wore this a day before Halloween and just casual wear around the house resulted in the hem on the skirt completely coming undone. I fixed that for Halloween and my daughter then wore her costume for a grand total of about 4 hours that night and in the process, the fabric of the side seam under her right armpit tore--and this time it wasn't just the hem--the fabric literally shredded apart. What a waste! It's a pretty little costume, yes, but for the money I'd go to any major big-box retailer (you know who I mean) and buy the latest Disney Princess dresses They cost less and the sewing and fabric looks like it would hold up a lot better.
A little flimsy
It's a cute play dress but not very sturdy, my 18 month old wore it around the house for a couple hours and it was already started to come apart on the bottom hem and some of the seams
