I returned this dress. The light up feature was a total joke...it BARELY lit up at all. Just a tine three inch light. Cheaply made. Seams were poor quality. I found a similar light up dress at CVS that actually lights up, for $19.00. Don't buy this! It looks NOTHING like the picture.
Poor quality
The dress is really cute but the LED lights are a joke. They are just a tangled mess and most of the fiber optics have broken, so it barely lights up. I am extremely disappointed. This was the first year my daughter actually picked out her costume and its just a piece of junk. Luckily, she doesn't know that and loves the dress. If I could manage to get her out of the thing I would send it back.
Not as advertised
The lights are RED not white, and arrive in a large clump of led strands right in the center of the skirt. I had to spend about an hour disentangling them and threading them into the mesh - they still didn't stay where I wanted them and tended to end up in a clump down the front. Also, the gold mesh on the top wasn't properly sewn into the bottom and had separated - it came out of the package this way. It's a cute outfit overall, and I let my daughter wear it anyway, but I still felt like I wasted my money. It just wasn't what I thought I was buying. The lights look nothing like they are pictured, and it is cheaply made. If I could give it zero stars I would. Don't be fooled!
