Good Costume!
I liked this costume for my 2 year old little girl. It was good, fuzzy/furry quality. The booties fit over her shoes, so I didn't worry about her being warm enough. In fact, the whole costume fit over her clothes. I'd say she weighed 27-28 lbs when she wore this.
The only criticism I would have is that the 'hood' might have worked out better if it was attached at the back. When she moved around (which toddlers will do quite a lot) sometimes it got turned and went in front of her face.
Cute costume
The costume is cute, which is the main point. It was fairly roomy on my tall 19-month-old. Roomy enough for warm clothes underneath although the costume itself was fairly warm. The neck was a little tight and we had to leave the back unfastened at the top. The hat is cute but the whole costume is pretty scratchy on the inside, so getting her to keep the hat on was difficult (she normally wears hats well). It's pretty expensive for what it is. It all depends on what cute is worth for your first baby's first trick-or-treating.
Awful, scratchy inside
I have never written a review before but I felt compelled because this costume is deceiving. It looks soft and cozy and it's adorable from the outside but the lining is absolutely awful. It feels like sandpaper and there is no way it can be worn without something covering every inch of skin. Even the hat is scratchy. I'm going to try taking it to a seamstress and having a lining put in it because my daughter is obsessed with pretending to be a Dalmatian and was so disappointed in its discomfort. I don't know why anyone would create something so uncomfortable especially when it is to be worn against a child's sensitive skin.
