I bought this for my then five month old's first Halloween. It is a great costume but there are just a few minor things to be aware of:
My baby has consistently worn Carter's in a size larger, I've found the entire Carter's brand runs one size small (at least for my baby). So for my then five months old baby, I bought the 6-9 month size, which ended up being a little too big. The Carter's Halloween costumes seem to run more "true to size", that is a lot larger than their normal baby clothes.
There is a lining inside of the top portion of the costume that makes it poofy. When you wash the costume the lining moves around (even while following care instructions) so after it is dry you have to move the lining back into place which can be a little difficult.
This didn't detract from my liking of the costume much (just one star) because Carter's makes quality costumes that could be reused and worn after Halloween. They hold up really well in the wash...
