The shell itself is adorable. My daughter is 18 months old and the 18-24 mo fits her well. The wings lose glitter but that was expected. My only disappointment was the antennae. They are attached to a hard headband made for an older girl or adult, not a toddler or baby. I detached them and hot glued them to clips that I clipped to a soft black headband. Overall though, I am happy with the costume.

My daughter wore this for this last haloween when she was 16 months. She has a very small stature and it still fit her pretty good (but plenty of room so likely great for larger kids) and it didnt look to baggy. She loves to play with the antenna even now months after haloween. My only complaint is that the wings could have a little bit of stiffness to help them stick out better from the back and the design on them fades if it gets rubbed very much. You'll need a black shirt and tights (and even shoes)to wear with this though. But as long as you make sure you have those things on hand then your kid with look cute as a bug!
Fit my daughter well
My 12-month old daughter was the cutest bee I'd ever seen. The wings detach, which is great for a toddler. The only complaint is that the headband was not very toddler-friendly, but we just put it on for one quick picture and then took it off. It had a lot of room to accomodate several sizes of 12-18 month olds, including my skinny daughter. If you have a taller toddler I might go a size up.
