Baby and Child Rust Triceratops B002PFJVTY

Baby and Child Rust Triceratops Dinosaur Costume - Medium 18-24 months - 3.6 out of 5 stars from 23 customer reviews

Cute and adorable, but sizing is a big issue and construction of the costume is faulty
Everything with the company that sells this product is 5 star, the main issue we have is with the construction of this piece. (we did not have the option to return the item or we would have) For starters, the 2T-4T sizing was too small for my 2 year old. The body of the costume was short by an inch which left no room for comfortable movement. The head was so big that it would fit and adult, the head flopped around and did not stay in place. I had to sew several points to reinforce the tail and seams, I altered the crotch area to make it longer and fit properly, I also stitched the head onto the back of the costume body to become a "hood". The product shown in the picture is not what you get, the bottom of the feet are made with elastic, yes we know they are for over shoes, we were looking for something for indoor use and the slipper like bottoms was an appealing point in our purchase. The points on the head are really short compared to the picture, and again the "head" fits properly...

Halloween Costume
This costume was everything that we hoped it would be. We live in Alberta so winters here can get pretty cold, but our 6 month old sone was nice and toasty in his costume. He looked so adorable. Probably wouldn't recommend it for a 12 month old. Our son is very tall for his age(29 inches) and there is no way that I can see it fitting a 1 year old unless they are very small.

Sizing definitely an issue
Our 2.5 year old son really wanted to be a dinosaur for Halloween this year. We really liked the look of this costume and it seemed like the reviews helped a lot with the sizing. He wears mostly 3T clothing, so based on everyone's suggestions, we ordered up, getting the 4T-6T. It is enormous! The legs and arms have an extra 5 inches of fabric that I will have to hem up, and the head piece is big enough to fit me. My son was very disappointed, but with a little help from a crafty grandmother, we are going to try to make this work!
